Digitally inking them curls.
Sketching, trying to push past an art block.

New art in progress! It’s been too long.
A little part of a repeat pattern I’m working on.
Sneak peak of a painting I’ve been working on. I’m in the ‘stare at the piece trying to figure out what to do with the background’ phase right now.
A work in progress experiment
Remember how I said I want to build a graphic design portfolio?
Well here’s the first real project that I’ve been working on for that purpose. Fictional Italian restaurant called Fresco’s logo and menu. It’s taken me quite a while to get to this point, but with some advice and encouragement, I’ve come a long way. I’m pretty happy with the logo.
Soca: A branch chart of recommended activities.
This is what most soca songs are about / tell you to do. (This is by no means a complete list!)
Carnival is tomorrow!
Working on a fun illustration… here’s a small peek.
Hey folks, it’s been a while since I posted an art update here, but I swear I haven’t been doing nothing. Mostly I was working on art for other people- late christmas present, and some design freelance stuff, plus a Valentines day card that I’m hoping to get printed (for my card design undertaking, Designed For A Smile). I’ll post more about the card design when I’m more certain of what’s happening with that.
In the meantime, here’s a little something from my most current project. I’m planning on doing some drawings and paintings in a more fine art vein, as opposed to my usual illustration work. How have you been, followers?
I needed some inspiration to draw, so I used a reference photo from *SenshiStock’s extensive and useful stock gallery to get things going. Thank you, generous stock photographer!
WIP. Another piece for the ministry. Local fruits turned into Christmas decorations :)
Clockwise from top: guava, cashew, mango and pomerac.
WIP - one of the series of 12 Christmas pieces for the Ministry of Arts and Multiculturalism. Just the line work done so far.
Making pastelles! Who can resist teefing meat from the bowl?
Working on some art.
It’s a yellow oriole. I haven’t shaded the dark feathers yet though.
